Restore*
You have found what looks like a piece of furniture that could be a contender for the dump trip. Don’t rush it, have a coffee, take a good look and let your imagination run a little bit as to what it could be used for and where it would fit into the scheme of things for you or someone you know. Then you will be…
Deciding what to use to restore that piece of furniture and bring it up to a reloved piece. Many pieces needed so much in the preparation and then take so long to finish that it could be a bit off-putting when looking at the timetable and the amount of time needed to devote to the task.
Well this is what used to happen to me then I came across chalk paint. Actually I had found it a few years back but it was not available in Australia but it is now.
In the meantime, people were experimenting with their homemade chalk paint and were kind enough to share the recipes they had devised.
These recipes are what I have been trying and the results I will share here with you.
