This is a wonderful part of repurposing furniture, it is once you take the piece from the room it was intended for and position it in the new room, then the style becomes adaptable to that new place and it is no longer the furniture piece that you purchased. It has a new life thanks to you.

When sourcing deceased estate garage sales or auctions, don’t be too keen to find the exact piece you have in mind. Actually going with an open mind can often lead to fantastic finds.

That box of  ‘what-evers’ can turn up really great finds, often antiques that the family didn’t really like, thought it was something won at the local show. How wrong can they be!
